Cost neutral and better for the environment

We’re always looking for innovative ways to help you reduce your environmental impact. And our Levy Exempt Backed (LEB) electricity is a great one. It’s your guarantee that your electricity is coming from high quality, 100% renewable sources, like wind, hydro and biomass.

That means HM Revenue & Customs can declare your supply exempt from the Government’s Climate Change Levy (CCL). On your electricity bill, the CCL is replaced by an LEB charge. This makes our green electrciity a cost neutral way of improving your energy efficiency and helping the environment.

Please be aware that any tax exemptions you may get from through your electricity supply, like de minimis, CCL or VAT, do not apply to LEB energy.
